Presentation A A R O N   L O V E

The breeding station AARON LOVE is registered with the Czech Breeders Union, which is
a member of the international breeding organization FIFé (Fédération International Féline).

The station is located at Hustopeče, about 20 km south of Brno, by the highway in the direction of Bratislava. The distance from Vienna is less than 90 km.

Aaron Love is a middle-sized breeding station, which has recently concentrated on the breeding of short coated cats Devon rex and Cornish rex. An additional activity of the station is the breeding of fully hairless cats known as Sphynx.
Detailed information about the properties and character of the cats can be found on the following pages dedicated to the individual breeds.

All cats are bred in a domestic environment, with maximum care and love dedicated to them. Despite their solitary nature, they are amiable and grateful pets who appreciate humans' company and friendship. We will be glad if our kittens make happy also other pet fanciers, who long for love because a playful kitten will change everybody's life.

If you become a guardian of a lonely cat or get a cat from an unknown environment, you usually know nothing of its health or social behaviour. And to make a cat that was used to living out of doors to get accustomed to living in closed flat is absolutely out of the question. But the cat that has not got accustomed to anything else will not mind a domestic life.
Therefore if you decide to raise a cat in a flat and you have no garden or any other possibility of outdoor egress, it will be better to acquire it from a registered breeder. You will get a kitten that is not only healthy and properly vaccinated, but also well brought up and correctly socialised, a kitten that is used to living in a flat and to a close contact with a human being.
In addition, you can choose such cat species the characteristics of which will meet your requirements, both from the point of activity, vocal expressions or type and length of hair. For instance, longhaired cats are absolutely improper for people with eczemas, asthma or allergies.

Cats accompany mankind already since the antiquity. With the transition to a settled way of life, people began to gather supplies of food, but also produced huge quantities of waste. Those drew armies of rodents who then foraged in the food storehouses. But with the rodents there came also their natural predators – cats. And as these small beasts did not represent any risk nor food chain competitors, they became a welcome and beneficial companion. In some cultures, e.g. in Egypt, they were even worshiped as gods.
Let us skip a few millennia and get back to the present day. With the growing workload at the end of the 20th century people had less and less time for their pets. And that is why cats gradually overtook dogs in popularity. Cats are independent animals, they do not require everyday walks, and it is possible to raise them even in a relatively small flat. The fame of dogs also suffered due to the increasing number of attacking people, and especially children. Not to mention the pollution of pavements. This is why the more placid, cleanly and autonomous cats grow ever more popular and are enjoying increasing attention.
